The 'Frantoio' Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Melchiorri is made with a blend of Umbrian olives that are handpicked and cold-pressed using the traditional granite millstone.

This extra virgin olive oil is medium fruity with notes of artichoke and undertones of fresh herbs. The aftertaste is sightly bitter and peppery.

Olive Varieties: 65% Frantoio, 25% Moraiolo and 10% Leccino.

Pairing ideas: bruschetta, pizza, sauces, grilled meat, salads, vegetables.

50 years ago Gianfranco Melchiorri started producing extra virgin olive oil in the region of Umbria and today his son Alessandro continues with tradition and strong passion for his craftsmanship. Oleificio Melchiorri proudly represents the culinary masterpieces of the region of Umbria. Oleificio Melchiorri also makes truffle tapenade and mushrooms pate.
