Details

Red Pesto from Italpesto is made following the Basil Pesto without Garlic recipe but with the addition of some tomato pulp. Red Pesto is made with the best ingredients from the Ligurian region: delicious Genovese Basil DOP, Tomato Pulp, high-quality, cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil, Parmigiano Reggiano DOP, Pecorino Romano DOP, crispy Italian pine nuts, walnuts and a bit of salt. This red pesto is very creamy with an intense in the flavor.

Fresh with an intense aroma, this pesto is perfect on traditional Trofie, Gnocchi, Caserecce, Vesucio, Penne and Ziti.

Ingredients: Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Genovese Basil DOP 27%, Tomato Pulp 11%, Grana Padano DOP, Pine Nuts, Salt, antioxidant agent: ascorbic acid, acidifier: citric acid.

Directions: Pesto should not be heated. When draining the pasta, save a little water in the pan. Return the drained pasta to the pan and stir through the pesto. Once opened, keep refrigerated and use within 3-4 days.
