Founded by Orlando Grondona in 1920, Grondona is a Genovese pasticceria known for sweet confections crafted with the highest quality ingredients following centuries-old family recipes. But sometimes, they look outside of regional family tradition. When the first chocolate chip cookies became popular in the U.S., Grondona adapted the recipe and gave the iconic treat a Ligurian twist.
