The Primo Extra Virgin Olive Oil Monti Iblei DOP from Frantoio Cutrera is made exclusively with 100% monocultivar Tonda Iblea. The harvest is from October 1st until November 15th. The olives are picked by hand and pressed within 6 hours.

Primo DOP is an extraordinary extra virgin olive oil that won many international prizes.

The flavor is intense fruity with bitter notes. There is an intense spiciness and notes of green tomatoes.

Olive Varieties: 100% monocultivar Tonda Iblea. DOP Monti Iblei.

Pairing ideas: roasted meats, grilled fish, tomato bruschetta, fresh vegetables and salads.

Company History:

Since 1906 the Cutrera family has been cultivating olives in Chiaramonte Gulfi, near the city of Ragusa, in the region of Sicily. Today, the family continues to manage the company, taking care of over 50 hectares of olive groves in southeastern Sicilia.
